We have tried all of the popular hook brands and many of the "Amazon" brands as well.  After bending, breaking, missed hook sets and heartbreak using those other brands, we finally found a proper saltwater hook in these VMC Circle hooks.  They are sharp, they avoid rust and they are super strong.  These 3X, Vanadium Steel Hooks are the best hooks that we have ever used.  We use the 10/0 on our shark cast out rigs, the 3/0 on our live bait rigs and the #4 on our surf rigs (pompano, whiting).  They come in packs of 25 hooks.
