Do It All Shark Deployment - Bottom or Float

This rig does it all.  It will catch sharks of all sizes from the 3 foot sharpnose sharks, to the 7 foot lemons all the way up to monster tigers and hammers.  It has an extra coastlock snap swivel that allows it to easily become a float rig if you want to float a live or cut bait for sharks that are suspended in the water column - which is highly effective.  Please see pictures for how to modify. 

All connections are double crimped.  A slide stop is placed two feet above the hook to keep the weight off the bait and to keep the float in place.  All of our shark rigs come with the barb smashed.  

• 16/0 Circle hook - it is a smaller overall size than other 16's but it is a thicker gauge and will not bend out under heavy drag pressure.
• 10/0 Offset Circle hook - we use VMC Vanadium steel hooks that are 25% stronger than other hooks.  This is an excellent choice when targeting smaller sharks, reds and tarpon from the beach.  We use it to catch sharpnose which make great bait for bigger sharks.
